Politicians Loan preference from Country Wide

Our politicians Dodd and others received special VIP treatment from Country Wide, a company that went bankrupt and that our politicians bailed out. Why is it the Democrats are blocking an investigation into this, but they want to continually investigate people that are out of office? If a politician has done wrong, of any party, they should be investigated and thrown into jail! Why the double standard? I don't mind them spending money on investigations into Bush / Cheney, but we all know they will never get them for anything and it's a waste of money! If however they want to waste money. that's fine as long as when the shoe is on the other foot they are equally as viscious!

Obama's risk

I read today that our deficit is 1.2 Trillion dollars. I don't care to debate who caused this, whether it is Obama, Bush or the Democrats and Republicans that control Congress. To me, the damage is done, it's how you deal with it from here on out. Democrats say you must spend your way out of this. Republicans say we must cut the budget. Even though for a while the Republicans spent like drunken sailors while in control, I have to agree! If I was running a business and I had maxxed out my credit and was barely making the payments, I can't see me going out and getting more cards and maxxing them out too! If you can't make the payments on Medicare and Social Security you don't borrow more money for a healthcare system an new roads and a high speed train that goes between California and Vegas!

We all know liberalism doesn't work! California is and has been the liberalism capital of America. They will run out of cash in 50 days and will be begging for money. Arnold tried to get through a cut in programs to get through this and the legislature wouldn't budge. I say let California go broke. Why should we help a state that wont take cuts in any programs? I feel sorry the ones stuck because their liberal politicians wont carve anything out of the budget.

Nancy and her lies

I hear all the Liberal's whining because the GOP is going after Nancy because she lied about what she knew! Too bad! We heard and are still hearing all the crap about how bad Bush was, and yes he made some mistakes and wasn't the best President! So what is the difference? Paybacks are a bitch!
I think the main reason most of us Conservative are going after her and any other liars in the Democratic party, is because the last two elections they campaigned on honesty! I keep waiting to see this honesty! The only reason they won the last election was because, some Republicans crossed over because they were tired of the lies!
Now that they have control they have no one to blame, but themselves? Of course they are trying to blame all the economy on Bush, but of course they had control of the Congress the last 2 years and thus had control of the budget! Chris Dodd's lied about putting in language in the stimulus for bonus's. That of course will be the Republican's fault too!

Obama's Cap and Trade

When Cap and Trade passes and gas, natural gas and electricity goes up by 30% to 50% it will hurt all Americans! Obama says he will sell credits to allow companies to pollute! These companies will raise their prices and this will effect you! Our economy has shown a few positive signs lately, but most people will not be able to afford any luxuries. This will make the economy take a dive! If Obama truly wanted to help slow global warming, he would allocate some of the stimulus money to give low interest loans to these companies to buy equipment to help the pollute less. He won’t do that because he wants your money and has a way to get it and still be able to say he didn’t raise the tax!

Cap and trade!

Obama and the Democrats will really hurt themselves if they do this cap and trade thing! Don't they realize that this cap and trade thing will raise the prices of electricity by around 50%. This is the number given to me by Dusty Johnson, our PUC commissioner. This in turn causes the prices of goods and services to rise. This not only hurts the rich, but also the poor and middle class badly! Our economy is starting to come back and he is going to stop it cold in it's tracks! I think this guy wants to destroy this country! It's only a matter of time before even his side sees the potentially disastrous ideas, because if prices go up like I think they will, the Democrats will lose their majority next election and Obama hopefully will be stopped before he does any more damage! I want to save us from global warming too, but there are other ways!

Obama's staff doesn't keep secrets!

I read today that Obama's science guy Holden told the news that they won't use the missile defense system at all because it isn't a hundred percent accurate. Why would you tell the news that in the first place? Obviously they can't understand that if they believe we have a defense that they will sop spending tons off mmoney on more weapons! That's like saying we have a nuclear weapon, but it isn't hooked up and we won't use it! I read in Popular Science that the accuracy was in the 90+ percent range! So if 100 rockets were sent to blow us up, 10 would hit us instead of 100. I think they should be deployed. I agree that Obama and his crew don't think that it will protect him enough then just protect the ones that want it!

Israel and Obama

In the bible, it says that all of Israel's friends will turn against it. It's happening! Obama is going to abandon Israel. This isn't a good thing! In the bible, it says that all that turn against Israel will suffer. It also says that in 2012 that humanity will cease to exist. Now, I am not the most religious person, but this is getting scary! I guess the 75% of the Jewish in this country that voted for Obama are hating life right now.

Politics As Usual

I have always been taught to tell the truth however painful it is! I can say without a doubt the economy is not Obama's fault! It is, however, the fault of many. When Harry Reid and company took over Congress, Bush needed them to pass war funding, which they opposed. They agreed to fund it once again if the Republicans loosened the regulations on loan making, so the poor could afford homes. Very noble indeed, but if they would have followed through and paid attention to what Fannie May and Freddie Mack were doing, they would have known of the doom that awaited our economy. George Bush, 3 years ago told the American public of the doom and the Democratic led Congress must apply sweeping changes to the system. No one listened, except John McCain one year later said the same thing and the Democrats blew him off.
I could blame Bush for running the war so badly that he had to accept the Democrats loosening idea. I could blame Harry Reid and company for suggesting it in the first place, but of course they were wise, because of what they did Obama is in the White House. I blame them all for what has happened!
You would think they would feel bad for people losing their retirements and would give up their lavish retirements and healthcare so that they might know what we feel like, but no they will of course vote themselves a raise instead. By they way, Congress has their own retirement system with free health care. If they only serve one term they can start drawing their retirement as soon as they are done. For a 4-year job they receive around $30K a year for the rest of their lives and free healthcare. That isn’t a huge amount, but when you consider that some of them have been in for many terms it is huge! Strom Thurman’s wife and children will receive his benefits, which is over a million a year. Now you can see why our retirement problems don't bother them. Neither side sees it an issue they want to fix. They would have to lose some of their tax money to spend on their brother-in-laws businesses. Remember the $300 hammers.
